Role and Responsibilities
In September 2020, she accepted the challenge of taking on the role of Coordinator of the Multidisciplinary Team to Support Inclusive Education (EMAEI) at Colégio da Fonte.
In September 2021, after the integration of Colégio da Fonte in Project To Be, she embraced the coordination of local initiatives of the Social Impact Team.
Both roles make it possible to involve the educational community, which is the only way for a great child development.
Curriculum
She has a degree in Special Education and Rehabilitation from the “Faculdade de Motricidade Humana – Universidade Técnica de Lisboa”.
She has an internship in learning difficulties and early intervention. She performed psych pedagogical and psychomotor intervention in children with multiple disabilities, mental disabilities, motor disabilities and learning difficulties in various contexts, such as a psychiatric hospital, IPSSs, public and private schools. This varied experience gave her a comprehensive view of the importance of inclusion and the measures that can be taken towards greater equity for all, at school and in society.
At Colégio da Fonte, where she has worked since 2007, she was previously a teacher of psychomotricity with nursery and pre-school children, and the driving force behind the “Ser Solidário project”. Currently, she is the facilitator of the meditation and relaxation place, “One Moment”, with primary school children. She is also coordinator of the Multidisciplinary Team to Support Inclusive Education, support teacher and Local Coordinator of the Social Impact Team of Project To Be.
She collaborates with” Clínica dos Navegantes” – Grow Well, in clinical intervention of psychomotricity and special education for children and adults.
Personal note
In her life, family and friends have a primary place. Sensitive by nature, he approaches without fear of difference, always trying to change everyone’s life in a positive way. She enjoys hiking, traveling, going to the cinema, and going to music concerts.
